With the advancements in technology it is no longer required to undergo installing a labor-intensive, hardwired security system. The modern wireless security systems are user-friendly and equally as effective as the hardwired versions. Smarthome has introduced their SecureLinc Family Security System which is a full-featured, customizable security system that connects in a fraction of the time of hardwired systems and includes everything you require to get your home security system up and running. This system is hassle free and contains no complicated wiring or cabling! You simply plug the main unit in, mount the wireless sensors in the zones that you wish to have protected and you’re then ready to program the system.
This Smarthome Wireless Security System supports 28 wireless zones, 2 hardwired zones and is able to record up to 100 events.
Thieves will be hot footing down the street if they activate the alarm signal from this system. When one of the wireless sensors is activated the alarm signal blasts an 85dB siren - even the most sound sleepers will be up and alert when this siren is activated. In a ddition you also have the option of programing it to call any private phone number (ie. a friend, a neighbor, your office, your wireless phone, etc.) and play a pre-recorded message in your own voice. It is not necessary to have a dedicated phone line for this function to work.
The Smarthome SecureLinc Family Security System supports 24-hour monitoring by commercial alarm monitoring personnel, so that police, fire or medical response can be dispatched as required. It has the built in ability to contact you for non-alarm events - eg. the system can call you at the office to let you know that your child successfully disarmed the alarm.
Programming is very user friendly and simple. You are provided with the option of testing or arming the system at a predefined time.
For maximum convenience, SecureLinc can even operate 15 X10-controlled lights or appliances (or 15 groups of lights or appliances), including 2-way appliances and those with dim/bright features. In addition to scheduling your X10 appliances to prepare your home for your arrival at night or from a vacation, you can also use the X10 timer function to make your home look occupied when you’re away.
There are up to 8 individual user codes available so each member of your household can have an independent code ID. As an added bonus Smarthome have included a message center, so you can hear and leave messages up to 20 seconds for other family members.
